Overview
In the field of health policy and systems research (HPSR), systematic reviews can be enormously helpful in appraising complex findings from a wide array of disciplines and methods – particularly when individual pieces of HPSR research conclude with different or even conflicting policy options. A tool that appraises all relevant studies and collates their findings offers distinct advantages not only to researchers, but to policy-makers and health system managers as well.
