Open Mindsets: Participatory Leadership for Health

Overview

17 November 2016 - Vancouver - The Alliance launched its biannual Flagship Report "Open Mindsets: Participatory Leadership for Health" on 17 November, at the Fourth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research being held from 14 to 18 November 2016 in Canada.

The Flagship Report calls for participatory leadership to replace existing individualistic and hierarchical models of leadership. This approach is premised on inclusivity and engages diverse stakeholders at different levels within and outside the health system. The report was launched along with a special issue on Effective Leadership for Health Systems in the Health Systems & Reform Journal.
