The Journal of Pharmaceutical Policies and Practice has launched a thematic series on medicines in health systems. This series highlights many key themes in the Alliance`s Flagship Report on "Medicines in Health Systems: Advancing access, affordability and appropriate use" through its application of a systems approach to medicines.
The thematic series contains a set of papers on country experiences and overarching issues related to medicines in health systems in Asian countries on the path to universal health coverage. It is hoped that lessons can be drawn through these country experiences, and applied to challenges in other contexts.
