The Alliance is seeking applications from health policy decision makers from low- and middle-income countries to attend the 4th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research in Vancouver, Canada in November 2016. Twenty mid to senior level decision makers – working at national or sub-national level, with roles in health policy development and/or implementation – are the target group for this initiative.
Health systems research requires engagement from all stakeholders in the health system in order to contribute effectively to strengthening health systems and building resilience. Selected participants will be asked to share their experiences and contribute to mutual learning of building the field of health policy and systems research.
All selected candidates will have related symposium costs covered by the Alliance.
