The importance of embedding research within health systems gets spotlighted in The Times Higher Education (THE). For healthcare research to bring practical benefits beyond the realm of academia, this article advocates for embedding research within health systems, a key area of the Alliance’s work. When ministry of health decision-makers and researchers jointly identify and undertake research, the more likely, the evidence will be used for improving health policies and programmes.
