The Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research (AHPSR), is issuing a call for nominations for two available seats on its Board, and is inviting all those interested to submit their nominations electronically by Thursday, 30 April 2015. PROCESS AND DEADLINES
- Submission of Nominations: Interested individuals should submit their nomination by email to the Alliance HPSR Secretariat at alliancehpsr@who.int. The subject line should read – “Application to serve on the Alliance HPSR Board.”
- Collection/initial review: The Alliance HPSR Secretariat will collect and compile all nominations; reviewing all applications to guarantee that they are complete.
- Voting process: The Alliance HPSR Board will review all nominations and vote during its summer Board meeting, which is normally held in early June.
- Announcement of results: Candidates will be notified of the Alliance HPSR Board’s decision by email. In addition, new Board members will also be communicated on the Alliance’s website and other communication means.
Please note that the first envisaged commitment of the selected candidates will be the participation in the Alliance Board meeting, to be held in Geneva (Switzerland) from 5-6 October 2015.

HOW TO APPLY
Interested candidates should send an email to alliancehpsr@who.int. The subject line should read “Application to serve on the Alliance HPSR Board.” The email should include a brief explanation on why s/he wants to serve on the Alliance Board, noting particular skills, knowledge and experience in the field of HPSR and their demonstrated ability to generate and/or obtain funding from potential donors. A short bio and/or Curriculum Vitae (CV) should accompany the email.
