The Alliance for Health Policy and Systems Research is proud to co-sponsor the Eighth Global Symposium on Health Systems Research with the World Health Organization and Health Systems Global. This year, the Symposium will be held in Nagasaki, Japan, from 18–22 November. The theme is building just and sustainable health systems: centering people and protecting the planet.
The Alliance is organizing five satellite sessions, three organized sessions, and launching our Alliance Alumni Network. The latter is a new initiative that aims to connect past and current contributors to the Alliance’s mission, including grantees, participants in our fellowship and mentorship programmes, members of our governance bodies, former staff and other collaborators worldwide.
We are also participating in and supporting a wide range of other satellite sessions and organized sessions. The Chair of the Board of the Alliance and Former Prime Minister of New Zealand, Rt. Hon Helen Clark, will also be speaking during at the Symposium’s opening plenary, as well in a number of the Alliance’s other events, including the Alumni Network launch.
A complete listing of Alliance-organized sessions and our broader participation is now available. We also look forward to connecting with you at our booth in the marketplace.
See you in Nagasaki!
