Launching the new Alliance strategy, 2024–2028

Integrating health policy and systems research into national health agendas can drive significant improvements in health outcomes and equity. In this webinar, experts and thought leaders shared insights and strategies for using health research and learning to strengthen health systems and improve health and well-being. It explored examples where research has contributed to change, discussed the challenges and opportunities in aligning research with national health priorities, and considered innovative approaches to foster collaborations between policy-makers, researchers and communities. It also served as an opportunity to introduce the Alliance's new strategy, 'Aiming for impact', which prioritizes engaging more comprehensively with country priorities and contexts to address the underlying social factors affecting health and to strengthen health systems.
