This webinar aims to reflect upon the key outcomes and findings from two different evidence-to-policy models implemented in Mexico, Nicaragua, South African and Cameroon, and to draw cross-cutting lessons in support of evidence-informed policy making.
In 2012, the Alliance launched a programme to explore innovative approaches to promote research uptake in health programme and policy implementation. The Leadership Development for Enhanced Decision-Making programme is comprised of two multi-site evidence-to-policy models that aim to strengthen the capacity of policy and decision-makers to communicate their needs for evidence, and access and use research findings. In addition, it aims to facilitate the integration of research into routine decision-making and programme management processes.
