The Global Maternal Newborn Health Conference will be held 18-21 October in Mexico City. The aim of the conference is to enable technical discussions on the approaches and lessons from programmes, policies, research and advocacy for improving both maternal and newborn health.
On 19 October, the Alliance will be participating in a panel session entitled "Postnatal Care: Reaching Newborn Infants and Mothers with Preventative and Curative Care" to highlight the importance of health systems strengthening in delivering quality postnatal care services in LMICs.
