Maya is an operations and coordination specialist who supports teams to work effectively across multiple priorities. She brings a communications-minded approach to administration, helping create the conditions for colleagues to focus on strategic work.

With a background in media, public relations and digital communication, she speaks Russian, English, Chinese and Italian. She has worked across Russia, China, Italy and Switzerland and is valued for her discretion and cultural sensitivity.

Maya joined the World Health Organization in January 2024, initially working with the Department of Noncommunicable Diseases, and moved to the Alliance team in March 2025. At the Alliance, she coordinates correspondence, meetings and travel, supports procurement and information systems and contributes to budget, finance and HR-related tasks. She is recognized for being organized, reliable and proactive, supporting smooth delivery across Alliance activities.
