DESCRIPTION:Health policy analysis (HPA) is a critical approach to health p
 olicy and systems research (HPSR) that seeks to understand how health poli
 cies are formed and implemented. Through gaining a better understanding of
  the forces involved in decision-making\, HPA can offer insights into how 
 policy change unfolds &ndash\; including shedding light on why policies ar
 e designed and implemented as they are in global health.This webinar build
 s on the work of the Health Policy Analysis Fellowship supported by the Al
 liance and coordinated by the University of Cape Town. It  presented key f
 indings of recent papers published as part of a special issue of the Inter
 national Journal for Health Policy Management\, highlighted the importance
